Nicaragua School Improvement Project

The BaseCamp Center in Nicaragua is located in the town of Jinotepe in south-central Nicaragua near both the capital Managua and the tourist center of Grenada. You will transfer straight there when you arrive at the airport in Managua and remain in the center for the duration of the program. The town of Jinotepe provides a fantastic location to learn about Nicaraguan culture and history while lending a hand.

During your project you will be working with one of the many poorly-funded schools in the area looking for your support. Work will include painting, cleaning, basic construction and repairs. As well, depending on the group you are on, we may be involved in adding additional classrooms and play areas.
