Summer Groups 2010

Our Summer Group projects are a great opportunity to do something different during your time off. These short term projects have been developed to ensure that a group of volunteers can have a positive and lasting impact in a short period of time.

May 14 - 28 (2 Weeks):
Peru - School Improvement
Costa Rica - Sea Turtle Conservation

July 31 - Aug 27 (4 Weeks):
Tanzania - School Building

Aug 6 - 23 (2 1/2 Weeks):
Costa Rica - Climbing & Trail Building

Aug 6 - 27 (3 Weeks):
Ghana - Public Health Awareness

Aug 13 - 27 (2 weeks):
Ecuador - Daycare Improvement
Nicaragua - School Improvement

Deposit: $400
Final payment is due by March 5, for May projects; and June 4, for August projects.

What's Included:
Airport pick-up; placement accommodation; all meals (except Sundays); orientation; full time coordinator assistance; well researched placement; project materials; placement consultation and preparation; 24/7 in country emergency support; fundraising assistance

What's Not Included:
International flight; airport taxes; arrival visas; medical/cancellation insurance; Sunday meals
