Reading Week Programs

Our Volunteer Abroad Reading Week Programs are a great opportunity to do something different during your time off. These short term projects have been developed to ensure that a group of volunteers can have a positive and lasting impact in a condensed period of time.

Each project follows the same general itinerary, with the first two days in-country spent participating in comprehensive orientation and training to ensure that you are prepared for the project. The next five days are spent working on the project, and the final weekend is free to further explore the country.

Final payment is due by December 17th. Project fees vary between countries, please see each project description for fee information.

What's Included:
Airport pick-up; placement accommodation; all meals (except Sundays); orientation; full time coordinator assistance; well researched placement; project materials; placement consultation and preparation; 24/7 in country emergency support; fund raising assistance.

What's Not Included:
International flight; airport taxes; arrival visas; medical/cancellation insurance; Sunday meals.
